These chicken legs cooked in the Air Fryer are delicious and tender with little seasoning after being marinated for about 2 hours and can straightaway serve them with a salad of your choice after roasting.

Ingredients
2whole chicken legs - about 500g/17.64oz
Seasoning
1/2tspsalt
1tspsugar
1tsplight soya sauce
1/2tspsesame oil
1/2tbspoyster sauce
1tsppepper
Instructions
Clean and rinse chicken legs a few times and drain well, then dap dry with kitchen paper.
On the chopping board, turn chicken leg skin down. Using a sharp knife and slit the chicken meat in 3 cuts but not cutting through the end. This is to help the meat to cook evenly in the air fryer.
Combine the seasoning in a small bowl and pour over the chicken legs. Rub the seasoning sauce evenly over the chicken legs on both sides and marinate for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.
Set the dry fryer oven at 200 deg C and preheat it for 3 minutes. Rub the chicken legs with marinade again and place them with skin facing up in the basket and close the compartment. Start to roast the chicken legs for about 25 minutes, then turn them over with skin down and continue to roast for 5 minutes. Flip them over again for another 5 minutes. Test it a with skewer, if the juices run clear, it’s done. You can roast the chicken for extra 5 minutes if you're not sure the chicken is fully cooked or not.
Serve the chicken leg immediately with salad of your choice. I served it with some boiled broccoli, carrot and cherry tomatoes along with mashed potato and gravy.
Notes
You may lower the temp to 190 deg C if the chicken leg is smaller and check on the chicken meat after 20 minutes of roasting. Continue roasting till chicken leg is fully cooked.
Just a little note : For easy cleaning, try to wipe the extracted hot oil from the cooked chicken in the air fryer compartment with kitchen paper. Immediately soak the compartment together with the basket in soapy water before washing with a brush to clean off any food stuck. Dry completely before putting them back into the air fryer.
