Ingredients
50gsalted butter
4tbspgolden syrup
1tbspdairy whipping cream
1.5tbspcaster sugar
200galmond flakes
20ggsunflower seeds
35pcsboat tart shell
Instructions
Place butter, golden syrup, whipping cream and sugar in a non-stick pan at low heat. Stir mixture until bubbles form, about 30 seconds then off heat.
Pour in almond flakes and sunflower seeds. Mix gently until almond flakes and sunflower seeds are fully coated with caramel.
Then place almond mixture thinly (about 70 percent full) on to boat tart shell. *Do not add too much almond mixture as the caramel will overflow during baking*.
Bake in preheated oven middle rack, at 150 degrees C for about 18 minutes.
Leave almond boat cookies to cool down completely before storing in plastic bags and sealed.
