The combination of chocolate chips, walnuts and some coffee paste developed a perfect flavour and wonderfully sweet fragrance and made me have a few in a go with a cup of hot coffee

Ingredients
125gbutter - soft to touch
80gbrown sugar
1egg, lightly beaten - medium size, about 60g with shell
200gplain flour
1/2tspbaking powder
1/2tspvanilla extract
1/2tspcoffee paste
80gchocolate chips
70gwalnuts - chopped
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Sieve flour and baking powder into a bowl, mix well and set aside.
Cream butter and brown sugar till light and fluffy. Gradually add in beaten egg until well combined followed by vanilla extract and coffee paste, mix well again.
Pour in flour mixture and fold well with a rubber spatula. Lastly add in chocolate chips and chopped walnuts, fold well.
Spoon the dough down onto the lined baking sheet and bake in preheated oven for about 13-15 minutes. Cool down cookies then keep them in an airtight container.
