Nori Prawn Patties 海苔虾饼

You can prepare the patties with simple ingredients a few hours ahead and chill in the refrigerator until you’re ready to pan fry them. It only takes a few minutes to pan fry the prawn patties and serve with mayo or chilli dipping sauce.

Nori Prawn Patties

These quick and easy delicious Nori Prawn Patties are great as finger food for a party or serve as dim sum treats for your family to enjoy.

Ingredients
 

  • 150 g prawn paste - or use fresh prawn and blend to paste
  • 20 g frozen mix vegetables - or chop carrot
  • 1/2 tsp light soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp cornstarch
  • dash of pepper
  • nori seaweed

Instructions
 

  • Boil frozen mix vegetables for 2-3 minutes and strain well.
  • Place all the ingredients except nori seaweed in a bowl and mix well.
  • Cut nori seaweed into half with a pair of scissors. Spread the prawn paste mixture on to the nori seaweed (makes 7).
  • Heat non stick frying pan with some oil at low heat. Place the nori prawn patties in pan (prawn meat facing down) and fry for about 2 minutes till golden than flip over and fry for another minute.
  • Dish up and serve with mayo or chilli dipping sauce.

Notes

can prepare the patties a few hours ahead and chill in the refrigerator until you're ready to pan fry them

  • 虾肉配搭海苔超级鲜美,快速简单的食材,是一道很受家人欢迎而不可错过好吃的小点心 ~
  • 材料:
  • 150克 虾绞 (滑虾)或用鲜虾搅烂
  • 20克 冰冻杂蔬或胡萝卜切碎
  • 1/2茶匙 酱请
  • 1/4茶匙 麻油
  • 1/2茶匙 玉米淀粉
  • 胡椒粉,适量
  • 海苔
  • 做法:
  1. 汆烫冷冻杂蔬2-3分钟,沥干水分。
  2. 除了海苔,把所以的材料放入碗中拌匀。
  3. 将海苔剪成半,然后铺上虾肉混合物即可 (可做7片)。
  4. 锅中放入少许油,海苔虾面部朝下煎约2分钟至金黄色,然后翻面再煎1分钟即可。
  5. 盛起配上蛋黄酱或辣椒酱享用。
  • 可把海苔虾饼预先准备好放进冰箱冷藏,要吃的时候才放在锅上煎几分钟。
