Blackberry and Orange Salad

I’ve been eating a lot of blackberries lately. They’re big, sweet and juicy but expensive. As I wanted to finish some leftover fresh blackberries before they turn bad, I made another another citrusy healthy salad of blackberries, oranges and syrup with some cinnamon powder (you may like to check here for my citrus salad recipe).  This salad can be prepared within 10 minutes, and I like the addition of cinnamon which goes well with the fruits. For some of you who do not like the taste of cinnamon you can just leave it out. Not only can this easy and beautiful salad be served on its own, it also goes well with grilled food. I’m sure everyone will love this salad!

Ingredients
  • 2-3 Oranges
  • 2 tbsp Orange juice
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice
  • ½ tbsp Honey or to taste
  • ⅛tsp Cinnamon powder, optional
  • some fresh blackberries

  • 2-3粒 香橙
  • 2大汤匙 鲜橙汁
  • 1大汤匙 青柠檬汁
  • ½ 汤匙 蜜糖或适量
  • ⅛茶匙 肉桂粉 (可不加)
  • 适量鲜黑莓
Instructions
  1. Combine orange juice, lime juice,cinnamon powder and honey together, stir well and set aside.
  2. With a sharp knife, remove rind and white pith from oranges. Cut orange into 6 slices and arrange on plate. Drop few fresh blackberries on top. Spoon syrup over the orange slices and chill for an hour before serving.
  3. 把香橙汁,青柠檬汁,肉桂粉和蜜糖搅匀,备用。
  4. 用利刀去掉香橙内白皮,然后把果肉切成6片排放在碟子中。放上几粒鲜黑莓。淋上备好的香橙汁,送入冰箱冷冻1 小时即可享用。
