Kiwifruit Popsicles
I used this flexible silicone mould from SiliconeMoulds.com that is very suitable for use in the freezer and oven.ย Thank you so much Sarah Jane, I really love it!
- 3 Green kiwifruits
- 3 Gold kiwifruits
- 4 tbsp Water
- 4 tbs Sugar
- Remove kiwifruits skin and cut into large cubes.
- Place gold kiwifruits with 2 tablespoon of water and sugar into blender or liquidiser, blend until just smooth or with some small lumps are fine. Do not over blend the kiwifruits, otherwise seeds will be crushed and make popsicles bitter.
- Pour out blended gold kiwifruits into a cup and set aside.
- Then blend the green kiwifruits.
- Carefully pour half blended kiwifruits into silicone individual moulds (6 gold kiwifruits and 6 green kiwifruits as I wanted to make a two tones colour in one popsicle).
- Place silicone mould in freezer for about 30 minutes until popsicles partially frozen then insert popsicle sticks ย in the center.
- Put the silicone mould back to the freezer for another 15 minutes or more to make sure the sticks are firmly secured in the popsicles and pour (or use a teaspoon to scoop) in the remaining blended kiwifruits on top of it. Freeze popsicles until hard for at least 4 hours or overnight.

This is brilliant! But sadly, we are always having our kiwi season during late autumn and winter and it will be too cold for us to eat them in the form of Popsicle.
They do look lovely, Ann. So refreshing too! I like that you kept them in their natural state too!

I like the two tone color of your kiwifruit popsicles. I have never come across gold kiwifruit. must keep a look out for them.
Biren, The gold kiwifruit is always more expensive than the green one but is much sweeter. Hope you can find it in the market.

Now is winter in Australia. OK for you? :DD
Love the idea of using gold and green kiwi to make two tones. I should make this to encourige my son to eat kiwi fruit.
Angel, The green kiwifruits are quite sour. You can try with orange or mango, also very nice.
this looks deicious! may i know where you bought the sticks? thank you!
Claire
Hi Claire, I bought the sticks at Daiso.
No wonder I see 2 layers of kiwi fruits in different tones, it is because you put in the gold kiwi fruit puree first. Very healthy snack, Ann!
Two tones look prettier, actually also thought of adding watermelon but the watermelon was not sweet.
I was looking for this silicone shape for months but PH sold out one this. Wonder what is the shipping cost from silicon.com
Edith, I saw PH Bencoolen has the moulds.
So refreshing, I would love to have some.
Beautiful, fresh and delicious!
Ann, I love your kiwi popsicles, so refreshing for such weather now. too bad my freezer is full now, will try to clear the space to make way for this hahaha…
Jess, Really can't stand the hot weather, always made me headache.
Must make some ice pop for your girl, she will love it.
This will delight both kids and adults ๐ so nice, wish i could hv one right now. Love the idea of using the moulds to do this. Thanks for sharing this Ann.
Esther, you can also use small plastic cup as mould too. Can use any fruit juice too.
