Two Layered Grape Jelly 葡萄双色果冻

I’ve 3 bottles of grape juice,2 red and 1 white that have been sitting in my pantry for 2 months. I didn’t buy them actually. A bottle of grape juice was given free for every 2 pizzas bought at $14 from Cold Storage. So, if you have too many bottles of grape juice at home and can’t finish them before the expiry date, what are you going to do with them? I made them into jelly with the red and white grape juice. This is really a very quick and and easy recipe. Kids will definitely love it and it is very suitable as a Christmas cool treat and an after meal dessert as well.

Ingredients
  • ( A) Red Grape Jelly
  • 500g Red grape juice
  • 13g Gelatin powder
  • 50g Sugar
  • (B) White Grape Jelly
  • 500g White grape juice
  • 13g Gelatin powder
  • 50g Sugar
  • Method:
  • Combine (A) gelatin powder and sugar in a small bow, mix well.
  • Pour red grape juice into a pot. Add in the gelatin mixture.
  • Boil red grape juice under medium heat until gelatin and sugar dissolved.
  • Pour red grape juice into serving cups to half full and place them in refrigerator to set, about 20-30 minutes.
  • After the red grape jelly is set, boil the white grape juice (B). Cool down liquid slightly and pour on to the top of the red grape jelly.
Instructions
  1. Combine (A) gelatin powder and sugar in a small bow, mix well.
  2. Pour red grape juice into a pot. Add in the gelatin mixture.
  3. Boil red grape juice under medium heat until gelatin and sugar dissolved.
  4. Pour red grape juice into serving cups to half full and place them in refrigerator to set, about 20-30 minutes.
  5. After the red grape jelly is set, boil the white grape juice (B). Cool down liquid slightly and pour on to the top of the red grape jelly and chill jelly for few hours to set before serving.

葡萄双色果冻

材料

 做法: 

  1. 将(A)吉利丁与细砂糖混合均匀。
  2. 将红葡萄汁倒入锅中,再将混合均匀的吉利丁倒入葡萄汁中。
  3. 用中火将葡萄汁煮至吉利丁完全融化。
  4. 煮好的葡萄汁平均倒入杯中半满,放进冰箱冷冻定型,大约20-30分钟。
  5. 等红葡萄果冻完全凝固.再开始做(B)第二层白葡萄果冻。取出定型的红葡萄果冻杯,把拌好的白葡萄汁(稍微凉一下)倒在红葡萄果冻上面,再放入冰箱冷数小时至凝固即可享用。
