Cornflakes Cookies



This is a delicious, crispy and crunchy cookie recipe that you must try at home!

Ingredients:
250g Butter
175g Icing sugar
1 Egg
1tsp Vanilla powder
350g Plain flour
1 tsp Baking powder
160g Cornflakes (crushed)
50g Black currant

Method:
  • Combine plain flour, baking powder and vanilla powder together with the crushed cornflakes and black currant, set aside.
  • Cream butter, egg and icing sugar together till white.
  • Pour in all the plain flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix well.
  • Use spoon to scoop the mixture on to the baking tray.
  • Bake at 180C for about 15 mins.

  1. I thought that black spot is chocolate chips at first sight.. haha.. It was black currant.. my daughter likes cornflakes, will make some for her 1 day (when i am not lazy).. hahaha.. thanks for your recipe..

  2. Haha..I think black currant goes well with conflakes, that's why I added some in it. Must try this, many of friends like it very much.

  5. Black currents is a different combo for me. Thanks for sharing and I wish I had one of those cookies right now. I am having problems with my blog with the photos disappearing? Not sure why. Then I baked a new recipe today and it was a total disaster and was like a volcano errupting all over my clean oven. I can laugh now but was not happy when it happened. Off to clean my oven:)

  15. You know? Cornflakes are expensive in Spain! The more processed food is the more expensive. We have lots of nice raw ingredients though. :)
