Hi Ann, In the English version of this recipe mentioned to use “Plain Flour” but in Chinese version is written as “Low Protein Flour”. Which version should I follow? TQ
Hi Chew Fong, You can either use plain flour or low protein flour.
Most of my Malaysian Chinese readers don’t really understand what is plain flour, so sometime I put 低筋
or 中筋面粉 in Chinese.。 Anyway plain flour should be 中筋面粉。
Hi Ann, kym here. what brand or what type of black currant is best to use. Where can i get these in SIngapore ?
Hi Kym, I got it from Phoon Huat. You may check their outlets here:
Hi Moutushi, You're welcome. So glad you and your friends liked this cookies 🙂
Hope to hear from you again! ya!!
Hello chef, i tried those cookies yesterday, shared them with friends, unanimous response was " Excellent".
Sure can add vanilla extract to replace vanilla powder.:)
These look great and I'm sure they taste great too. Can use vanilla extract if no vanilla powder, or can just omit the vanilla powder? RLY
Erica: Thanks for dropping by.
Those cookies sound delicious! Great recipe.
Oh really? There are different prices for cornflakes in Singapore, depending on the brand.
You know? Cornflakes are expensive in Spain! The more processed food is the more expensive. We have lots of nice raw ingredients though. 🙂
Thanks for visiting, I'm sure you will definitely like this recipe after baking.
