Steamed Broccoli Egg with Prawn 虾滑西兰花蒸蛋
This easy Steamed Broccoli Egg with Prawn combination is a super healthy, low carb, and high-protein meal that is perfect for the whole family, including young kids. Steamed Broccoli Egg with Prawn
Ingredients
- 1 head broccoli - medium size
- 3 eggs
- 40 g carrot
- 300 g prawn paste
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tbsp egg white
- 1/2 tbsp corn starch
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Cut broccoli top part to fine. In a pot of boiling water, add pinch of salt and a few drops of oil. Then drop in the broccoli and blanch for about 30 seconds, remove and strain, set aside.
- Slice carrot and roughly chop, then place in blender to blend fine.
- Place prawn paste in a bowl together with blended carrot. Then add sugar, egg white, cornstarch and pepper, mix well.
- Grease steaming pan (18x14cm) with corn oil. Pour in prawn mixture and spread evenly.
- Crack eggs in another bowl, slightly beaten with a pinch of salt and pepper. Pour in broccoli, stir well and pour on to prawn mixture.
- Cover steaming pan with aluminum foil and prick some holes with a skewer to release hot air during steaming. Then place in a steamer under boiling water and steam egg prawn for about 30 minutes or till set.
- Leave cooked egg prawn to cool and remove from steaming pan, cut to required size and enjoy or alternatively chill it in the refrigerator for a few hours before consuming.

- 材料:
- 1粒 西兰花
- 3个 全蛋
- 40克 胡萝卜
- 300克 虾滑
- 1/4茶匙 砂糖
- 1/2汤匙 蛋白
- 1/2汤匙 玉米淀粉
- 1/4茶匙 胡椒粉
- 做法:
- 把西兰花头部分切成小碎末. 锅中把水煮至沸腾, 加入少许盐和几滴油. 放入西兰花碎末汆烫约30秒, 盛起沥干水分, 备用.
- 将胡萝卜切片切小, 放入料理机模细.
- 虾滑和胡萝卜放入碗中. 加入砂糖, 蛋白, 玉米淀粉和胡椒粉, 混合均匀即可.
- 蒸盘 (18x14cm)刷上玉米油, 倒入虾滑混合物, 抹平.
- 将鸡蛋打入另一个碗中, 加入少许盐和胡椒粉, 打散. 倒入西兰花碎末.混匀. 然后倒在虾滑混合物上面.
- 蒸盘上盖上锡纸, 然后用竹签在上面扎一些孔洞蒸的时候能够透气. 放入蒸笼(预先煮好开水)大火蒸约30分钟或至凝固即可.
- 蒸好的西兰花虾滑待凉后才脱模切片或收进冰箱冷藏数小时后才享用.
