Steamed chicken with Chinese Sausage 腊肠蒸鸡

I just remember that I’ve not cooked this Steamed Chicken with Chinese Sausage for a long time.  It is an easy and quick to cook comfortable dish especially for busy mothers. You can marinate the chicken meat for a few hours and steam it for about 25-30 minutes before meal is served.  Don’t forget to cook more rice! 😀

Ingredients
  • 800g chicken meat (I used 550g chicken thigh and 250g mid wings)

  • Seasoning
  • ½tsp sugar
  • ½tsp salt
  • ½tsp sesame oil
  • ½tsp dark soya sauce
  • ½tbsp light soya sauce
  • ½tbsp oyster sauce
  • ½tbsp cooking wine (hua tiao jiu)
  • dash of pepper
  • 3 slices ginger and shredded
  • 1 red chilli, cut finely (optional)
  • 1 stalk spring onion, cut finely
  • 1 Chinese sausage, sliced
Instructions
  1. Cut chicken meat into pieces and marinate with seasoning for at least 30 minutes or more.
  2. Then place chicken meat in a steaming dish and place sliced sausage on top.
  3. Steam at high heat for about 25 minutes or till cooked and serve immediately.

调味料

做法:

  1. 将鸡腿肉斩块和中翅一起放入碗中,拌入调味料。 放进冰箱腌制最少30分钟或以上。
  2. 然后将鸡肉放入蒸盘铺上香肠片。
  3. 用大火蒸约25分钟或至熟即可享用。
