Steamed chicken with Chinese Sausage 腊肠蒸鸡
I just remember that I’ve not cooked this Steamed Chicken with Chinese Sausage for a long time. It is an easy and quick to cook comfortable dish especially for busy mothers. You can marinate the chicken meat for a few hours and steam it for about 25-30 minutes before meal is served. Don’t forget to cook more rice! 😀
- 800g chicken meat (I used 550g chicken thigh and 250g mid wings)
Seasoning- ½tsp sugar
- ½tsp salt
- ½tsp sesame oil
- ½tsp dark soya sauce
- ½tbsp light soya sauce
- ½tbsp oyster sauce
- ½tbsp cooking wine (hua tiao jiu)
- dash of pepper
- 3 slices ginger and shredded
- 1 red chilli, cut finely (optional)
- 1 stalk spring onion, cut finely
- 1 Chinese sausage, sliced
- Cut chicken meat into pieces and marinate with seasoning for at least 30 minutes or more.
- Then place chicken meat in a steaming dish and place sliced sausage on top.
- Steam at high heat for about 25 minutes or till cooked and serve immediately.

- 800克 鸡肉 (我用了550克鸡腿肉和250克中翅)
调味料
- 1/2茶匙 白糖
- 1/2茶匙 盐
- 1/2茶匙 麻油
- 1/2茶匙 黑酱油
- 1/2汤匙 酱青
- 1/2汤匙 耗油
- 1/2汤匙 花调酒
- 胡椒粉少许
- 3片 姜,切丝
- 1条 红辣椒,切细 (可不放)
- 1颗 葱,切细
- 1条 香肠,切片
做法:
- 将鸡腿肉斩块和中翅一起放入碗中,拌入调味料。 放进冰箱腌制最少30分钟或以上。
- 然后将鸡肉放入蒸盘铺上香肠片。
- 用大火蒸约25分钟或至熟即可享用。
- 简单又美味的腊肠蒸鸡 ~ 很适合忙碌的妈妈们做的一道菜!

Thank You for the recipe Anne. I had planned to cook a similar recipe inside lotus leafs. The only problem was I forgot to buy the lotus leaf. How crazy lol. I was worried, how i should go about cooking the dish but you’re recipe has really eased any worry.

Why only marinate dark soy sauce? How abt the light soy sauce or oyster sauce?

Yes, there are a list of seasoning in the recipe.
Seasoning
