Hello Friends, Happy Chinese New Year to all of you and I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. After consuming too much food and cookies on the Chinese New Year celebration table over the past few days, I made Fruit Tea for everyone at home to clean our stomach. My favorite way to serve Fruit Tea is to use fresh fruit with honey, you can also use lemon, grapes, honeydew, plum or any other fruits you like. A rich flavorful tea that can be prepared hot or cold.
As beautiful to look at as it is delicious to drink :))
Here is the recipe (adapted from Xin Flavours)
2 tea bags ~ Earl grey tea, Lipton tea or any English tea
500ml Boiled hot water
1 Red apple ~ diced
3-4 Green limes ~ extract juice from lime
1 Orange ~ extract juice from orange and strain
12g Dried cranberries
5-6 tbsp Honey
Method:
Place tea bags into hot water for 2-3 minutes, discard tea bags.
Add diced red apple, lime juice, orange juice and dried cranberries to Earl grey tea and mix well.
Lastly add honey to taste and serve immediately or chill before serve.
Enjoy!
