Deep Fried Chicken Wing with Prawn Paste (虾酱鸡)
12 Large chicken wings (about 1.2kg)
2 1/2 tbsp Prawn paste(虾酱)
1 tbsp Sugar
1 Egg
a little cha shao fen(叉烧粉)
3 tbsp Rice flour(粘米粉)
1 tbsp Plain flour(面粉)
Method:
Mix chicken wings with prawn paste, sugar and egg together with little cha shao fen (叉烧粉).
Mix well and put in fridge till overnight.
Add rice flour and plain flour into chicken wings and season for another 30 mins before deep frying.
Deep fry till golden brown or cooked.
Oh 叉烧粉 is actually the red colouring for 叉烧. Can get this from the chinese medical shop.

May I know what is 叉烧粉?I only know 叉烧酱, I never see叉烧粉before.
