Mooncake Festival 中秋节
Above pictures ~~ taken at Takashimaya Square
During the Mooncake Festival, the streets are lined up
with a number of festive stalls that sell a large variety
of mooncakes. Along with the mooncakes, these stalls
also sell traditional paper lanterns, cartoon designs
lanterns for kids and tibits.

It is definitely quieter in the Western countries. From what I know no holiday even on Chinese New Year.

hahahaha…. yes very very crowded , so many people sampling the mooncakes , I don't even want to step in there , this is so crazy ! Instead we went shopping at Icon and had our dinner at Sushi Tei at Takashimaya , quite long queue but we just love eating there !

Hi Debbie,Thank you for visiting. Please drop by often 🙂
I miss my childhood days celebrating mooncake festival in the kampung. A group of kids would carry the paper lanterns or milo tins and walk around dark corners of the kampung scaring ourselves. So much fun! Anyway, thk I'll head to Taka tmrw 😀
Right, very crowded. Many people try to sample all the flavours.

中秋节快乐!! HAPPY MOONCAKE FESTIVAL ~
wow..fantastic..
对对。。。每年都是如此,我觉得还是传统的比较好吃。就是不能吃太多。。。怕发胖。。。呵呵。。
Wenn & Peachkin: Happy Mooncake Festival!
Sonia: I agreed with what you've said. I remember kids used to carry lanterns at on the street in the evening and waited for the full moon to rise. And beside mooncakes there are many goodies.
去年的这个时候我也到过Taka参观如是的展销会,很盛大也别开生面。我记得当时在Vivo也有哦!
Wow, look at all those pretty mooncakes! Anncoo, you could totally sell your mooncakes alongside those vendors!
I would love to have the experience of this festivity. It looks amazing.
Palidor,
I don't think is easy to sell mooncakes because the filling pastes are quite expensive and quite a lot of work to do….too many flavours for people to order.
Anyway, thank you so much for your lovely comment 🙂
this is fun! I would've enjoyed it!
I still like the old day of mooncake festival, nowadays very commercial and mooncake very pricey.
Happy Flour,
Thank you 🙂 Same to you too and hope you enjoy this Festival. I'm sure your family and friends like your mooncakes.
