Ayam Percik (Baked Chicken in Coconut Sauce) 椰汁烤鸡腿
I enjoy Malay food but most of the time I don’t exactly know the name of the food. I will normally point at the food that I want at the Malay food stall. I first came to know this Ayam Percik from May’s blog when she posted this recipe on her blog. Later this recipe appeared on Esther’s as well as Jessie’s blogs. This Ayam Percik looks so delicious and I like that it’s so easy to cook, no, not cook but ‘BAKE’! Normally this Ayam Percik (baked chicken in coconut sauce) is grilled over a low charcoal fire. I used chicken drumsticks and marinated with half of the coconut sauce overnight. It took only about 40 minutes to bake. Mmmm.. my family gave their thumbs up for this Ayam Percik and thank you friends for sharing this great recipe. Definitely love to “cook” this tender and succulent, packed with yummy flavours Ayam Percik again.
