Beer Like Apple Juice Jelly 苹果泡沫果冻
Saw this unique Beer Like Apple Juice Jelly on youtube created by Ochikeron last week. It does look like beer, isn’t it? This yummy jelly is super easy to prepare, took only about 15 minutes and with minimum ingredients. It can be served as an after meal dessert or for the coming Christmas season. I’m pretty sure everyone will enjoy this jelly.

yam seng …..!!以果冻当啤酒。很棒哦。哈哈哈 。。。。。。
Hi Ann, I saw this in Ochikeron's utube too and was super amused. Was intending to 'trick' my hubby with this near Christmas!! Shhhh….Haha!Love your photo, especially with the condensed droplets…look really like a cup of refreshingly cool beer! 🙂
Ann, 希望现在就有一杯果冻在我的面前啊!
Hi Ann
I tried the jelly but after putting in the fridge for 3 hrs, the jelly is noy harden yet. Why
Hi LCY, I think the juice in the microwave is not hot enough. You can place the juice together with the gelatin under low heat. You may also increase the gelatin powder to 1.5 tsp if you want a firmer jelly.

Hi Ann, I tried this recipe last night. I followed all your steps and even got it very foamy before I put it in the fridge. But when I saw it this morning, instead of a thick layer of foam, it was only left with a miserable thin layer! The foam disappeared overnight! How do you keep the foam so that it wont 'disappear'? Does it have to do with the temperature of the juice? Can I try it with other juice? Best regards, Julie.
Hi Ann, thank you for the tips. I will try it again one day and let you know the result 🙂
Hi Julie, Sorry for the late reply. Nothing to do with temperature. The foam must be foamy and thick like whisking egg white. You must also cover the jelly with a cling wrap or place inside a container for overnight. The foam will evaporates after long hours. I consumed the jelly within the same day after making.
Hi Ann, this is a great idea for kids at Christmas!!
请问鱼胶粉可以用果冻粉代替吗?
不太适合用果冻粉,因为还没起泡就凝固了。
Hi Ann, i got an issue having bubble when whisking the mixture. My juice isn't room temperature will it the possible reason? Thanks!
Hi Ann, forget to mention I m bernice! Sure sure… else maybe is the jelly powder got issue cos i couldnt get gelatine powder. Thanks!
Hi, I think you should try the juice in temperature and see the difference.

Hi Grace, Yes, you can either double boil the gelatin with 3-4 tablespoons of apple juice or lightly boil with a little more apple juice.
