Oh baby, ya'll just made my day. Those flowers are beautiful just like your pics. Mine are cookin' in this triple digit heat . I deadheaded everything yesterday so all the energy could go to the roots so I can have the fall display I want. {{{SIGH}}}. Loved yours.

Have a terrifically blessed day sweetie!!!

What a wonderful event, such a beautiful rainbow of flowers. I'd love to go to something like that, but my husband is very allergic to certain flowers.

I think the orchids in Singapore are beautiful. I always wonder how they do to make it so healthy whenever I am in SG airport!

Reply:
Hi Ivy,
Terminal 3 at the SG airport allows natural light in the building while keeping the tropical heat out. The roof has specially designed reflector panels that will automatically adjust themselves to allow an optimal amount of soft and uniform daylight into the terminal building.

I think it is the light level in the house and so I kept moving them about from window to window and finally all of them except this one gave up. I noticed that the orchids at Changi are doing well despite just having flourescent light. Over here my orchids only bloom once a year but the flowers last for 2 to 3 months.

The Tiger Orchid are pretty. I think most of the orchids sold here are from South America and they can be expensive. I have heard people say that the bearded irises are considered the "poor man's orchids" 🙂

The orchids are so lovely! The one I have in the living room is finally in bloom again 🙂 It used to bloom for me every year and then it stopped for 4 years. We moved and it refused to bloom. Must be having a tantrum…hehe!! At least it is better than the rest….they all died!

Reply:
stopped for 4 years! hahaa..that's weird! I love orchids but I'm not good in taking of orchids. Can you see the first picture of the orchid with dark spots..that is Tiger Orchid. You can find this in S'pore Botanic Gardens and its only bloom once or twice a year.

I love the orchids! And the use of the Chinese opera masks to make the sceny more dramatic! And the roses too. Right now I have a "nucket of roses" I call it, a big white roses bouquet my daughter gave me that I placed in a blue mat glass vase that looks pretty much like a bucket.
