Oh, This looks so good. I love both savory and sweet crepe. I have not had crepe for a while. Maybe I should make it this weekend!
This is a great meal for a quick lunch time. The more stuffing, more better :D. Did you also make the crepe from scratch?
ooh!! LOVELY! you remember I LOVE crepes, right? Awesome!
oh … nice ^_^
Hi Janz,
Bake the 10"" cake for pineapple pudding bcse after baked the cake will shrink a little. So when you place the cake into the 9" cake will be just nice or you can push the cake into the 9" cake tin a little if the cake is slightly bigger.
I used adjustable cake ring~need a little gap so when you spread the mousse on the cake, let the mousse flow down to the sides. Use a scraper to smooth the top layer then put in the fridge to set. Decorate the sides of the cake before cut ~can use any type of nuts.
**Is alright to use 8" cake ring ~ the cake will shrink a little after baked.
U go open a shop, i go gao guan, keke…
lululu: You're right. This is a quick and easy recipe..haha…仪仪妈咪:Thank you :)SIS: This is very easy recipe…hihi..everyone can do it at home.
wow, must be delicious..
Rachel: Sure, my light meal is for 大人 while your bento is for 小公主..haha..
Wenn: Thank you for comming ๐
Kathy: Yes, you're right ๐
Petite Nyonya: I bought the ready made from supermarket~~the picture I posted. But this crepe is too soft, crack easily. I think better buy flat bread or pit bread, something thick that can hold the inside filling.
i really like the idea that it's extremely simple to bring everything together.
Thanks for stopping by at my blog and the chicken wrapped looks absolutely scrumptious ๐
Cheers!

Anncoo, while this may be a light meal, it looks very satisfying, full of goodness!
I've never seen those crepe wraps before, I love them!! Your wraps look amazing!
Your light meal always make me craving, can i have one please..^_^
This is really safe time and yet taste delicious, I should learn to cook this way, Thanks for sharing.
Pearlyn: Thanks for your compliments:) I think the crepe is a bit too soft, crack easily maybe too much filling in it. Next time I will use tortilla or pit bread.
Alice: Thank you ๐
Hi Gera,Thank you!
It really doesn't get much easier than this! Sounds great!
Cooking Gallery & Juliana:
Thank you for your compliments ๐
Mausi, Sarah & Barbara:
Thank you! ๐
This looks like a delicious light meal – reminds me a bit of burritos..:)
CBL: To save time just buy the ready made type ~ can use straight from fridge. I think is better to use 2 crepes into one. Because the crepes is very soft and thin, can crack easily.
HS: Must try this ~ quick and easy ๐
Hi Anncoo,
I tried baking ur orange mousse cake ystday immediately after you answered my questions.Glad tht it turn out well *clap clap*.
My sponge cake rises quite high in d 8" pan so I end up wiv a thinner layer of d agar-agar layer.Nxt time will adjust d ring size slightly bigger in order to have enough height for the mousse n agar-agar layer.Care to leave me ur email addy so tht we can correspond. Thx again.
Hi,
I would like to try your Pineapple Pudding Cake posted in June 09 but need some help and tips b4 pounding on it. You mentioned to divide the agar-agar into 2 portions right, as in both equal amount or just enough to cover the pineappple slices? Do you have to wait for the first portion of agar-agar to set before pouring the 2nd cream portion on top?
Janz

Hihi,
Sorry I miss out one more question for the pineapple pudding cake….hehe!!
The sponge cake was baked in a 10" tray but the follow-up agar-agar layer mentioned uses a 9" in tray. Is there a typing error? Thanks again.
Janz
Hi again,
Thank you for your prompt reply. I really appreciate your kind tips shared. Will try out this recipe soon.
I'm also interested in your Orange Mousse Cake and need tips from you again as this gonna be my first try on mousse cake…hahaha!!
After baking the sponge cake in an 8" pan, do you need a bigger cake ring to sandwich the sponge? Will the mousse flow down to the sides of the cake OR after sandwiching the 3 layers, chill it til set, then remove the ring and coat the mousse round the sides of the whole chilled cake? Thank You.
Janz
Thanks for sharing.Must be yummy. will try to make this for my family. ^_^
This is very healthy….I like the combination alot.
May I know how to make the crepes? or it's store boughht ready made one?
Hi Janz,
Not necessary to be equal amount.
Must wait for the 1st layer to set and use a small knife lightly scrape the surface, this will make the 2nd layer to stick together.
Make sure the 2nd portion is not hot (keep lightly warm) when you mix the fresh cream into it. Otherwise you will find the cream and the liquid separate. The 2nd step must be done quickly.
