Green Tea Cake 绿茶蛋糕
Ingredients:
2 Eggs
25g Fresh milk
15g Sugar
1/2 tbsp Honey
1/2 tsp SP
70g Optima flour
20g Plain flour
1/4 tsp Baking powder
1 1/2 tsp Green tea powder
a drop green colouring
1/4 tsp Jasmine tea flavour
25g Melted Butter
Method:
- Beat all the ingredients together until thick and fluffy at high speed.
- Then add in green tea powder, a drop of green colouring and 1/4 tsp Jasmine tea flavour.
- Lastly add in melted butter and mix well with a hand whisk.
- Pour into a 7″ cake lined tin and bake at pre-heated oven 170C for 25-30mins.

Green Tea Weight Loss
SP is sponge cake stabilizer. It helps the cake mixture more fluffy and thick and this makes the cake more spongy.

can use the japanese green tea bag instead.
This looks great. I was just trying some green tea cupcakes. But I used some tea bags which I don t think are good for cakes. 🙁 I don t find green tea powder from here 🙁
