Basil is commonly used fresh in cooked recipes. It is generally added at the last moment as cooking quickly destroys the flavour. It is usually used in Italian food (Sweet Basil), Thai food & Vietnamese food (Thai Basil).
Dill leaves are usually added to fish or mixed with pickled cucumbers.

I didn't buy basil seed. Just use scissors to snip the older (thick) stems of basil and stuff into a pot of moist soil. Need semi sunlight.
Hai, I admire your basil plant. I tried to plant basil from seeds and even bought the plant from Cold Storage. No sprouting from the seed and the plant just died after a week. Why????
Tried to plant tomatoes one time but only can see the leaves for few months and no tomatoes…haha…
Wow I love your herbs , how I wish I can own a big house with a huge garden and backyard so that I can plant all these , my hubby will sure say " You want to turn the house into a jungle ? " … hahaha
