hahaa…the very first time when I made the Barney was also a mess and its took me more than 3 hours to complete the transferring and at that time I was using piping jelly. Sometime when the surface is not smooth what I do is to dust some sprinkles on top to cover the ugly part.
After your first attempt I'm sure you can do a better job next time. Yes the white chocolate harden very fast, the only way is to soften it again under double boiler.
I saw some color in powder form at PH, would like to try it for the white chocolate next time.
Oh I am eager to see your job, must be good 🙂
Anyway thank you very much for your compliment.

I tried the transfer today and done the make-up for the cake. Phew!! Really have to said peifu peifu to you. How you even the whipping cream so neatly and whipped till so detail. My whipping cream melt on me and had a hard time applying the foundation till smooth. Overall not so pro,but i'm really happy. I tried to tint the white chocolate but it harden very fast, did you use candy melt. Will post the foto tommorow. Pls drop by if you're free to take a look. Thank you very much.

Omg! You have a pair of delicate hand. :O

Hi Muimui,

I put the cake in the freezer because I need the cake surface to be firmed so that I can place the cartoon on it, about 2-3hours.
After everything is done just store the cake in the fridge.
I usually make the cake two days ahead before the big day.

Hi! Happen to found your blog, while searching for some deco for my daughter birthday cake. Thought of doing a simple fruit cake, but saw your cake sooo beautiful. May i know how you store the cartoon chocolate? Do i need to freeze the cake after covering with fresh cream and how long. Thank you!
