Orange Lime Jelly
With the scorching hot weather, I just didn’t want to stay in the kitchen for long or had the mood to turn on my oven. So that’s the reason why you are seeing more easy recipes and cool desserts posts lately. Here is another cool dessert, Orange and Lime Jelly that I adapted from Chris of Yummy Bakes with a little adjustment. This orange lime jelly is an easy and very refreshing dessert with loads of Vitamin C and nutrients. Just remember to bring the juice to just light boil and turn off the heat as soon as the gelatine is dissolved because the orange juice will taste bitter if it is over boiled.

Ann,The cut lime with a heart shape pick look so cute.It makes your jelly a cocktail jelly so pretty!mui
i heard that if overboil, the sugar content in the oranges will be reduced..not sure abt that. so why ann?
Lena, I'm not sure. I've tried to boil orange juice a few times, sometime the juice was too bitter. I was guessing that I probably have touched the white skin when squeezing out the juice.
Ann, even though here is winter, I still tempted by your bouncy smooth refreshing taste of orange lime jelly!
太喜欢你的摄影技巧了,照片拍的漂亮甜品更是美味,喜欢:D
Angie, 谢谢你哦!

The lime looks so cute with the little stick on it! By the way, Ann, just want to let you know I read about you in the magazine and my gosh, you look really young for your age! Did you use SK II? haha… But seriously, you are an inspiration for me. You are so good with your baking and cooking, and your blog and pictures… I really envy…. your pictures are always so well taken. Did you take up any photography skills? I am unable to take nice food pictures. I am really lousy with it. May I know the camera that you use?Yin
Hi Yin, Thank you very much for your compliment. hahaa… I never used SK II but ICI to paint my face so you cannot see my wrinkles lol :DI also learned from many of great bakers from blogs and I made mistakes too.I'm using Canon 600D and attended the free workshop once. Later I learned from websites and also from books. We learn as we blog, right? 🙂

Looking at this I already felt refreshed. Happy Monday.
Ann, this is so refreshing and tempting 🙂
Ann, did you get the cup from PH or SKP? Easy and delicious indeed!
Ai Li, this cup was from SKP. The jelly is quite soft, the gelatine can't last long on room temperature, will melts within 30 minutes with our hot weather. If you want to serve with fruits, then must cut to small.
Ann, do you think it is ok if I were to put fruit cocktail or fresh cut fruits on top of the jelly before serving? Thanks!
Thanks, Ann!
Really refreshing!
refreshing and full of vitamin!
