Hi Jovial, thanks for trying this potato recipe.
I am using US Russet potato and find it OK when frying, maybe next time when you make this again you can add some plain flour into it or make into croquette..that is dip the potato with some flour, egg and breadcrumbs then deep fry it. please refer to my Potato croquette under snack.
this potato cake is delicious..i just made it 🙂 thanks for sharing the recipe..
But Anncoo, my potato cake was too soft, like a mashed potato..it was really hard to fly it..do u know wat is d reason?

@Biren @ Roti n Rice

Yes the cheesecake look so good to eat but I can't even transfer to English using google transfer, again blogger problem..sigh..
J.O ~ 呵呵。。忍一忍啦！等明天早上在过来！
Lovely looking fritters with a great flavor combination.
Yummy! This looks very good! It reminds me of the malay "Pakadil" where they used mashed potatoes and fried it! Have you made it before?
I make something similar but it has minced meat instead of bacon. Your combination sounds very tasty too and those pictures are awesome!
Sounds so tasty and flavorful with bacon and cheese. These make a perfect breakfast food.

Potato patties are my boys favorite. They also like bacon. I think I'll have to make a double batch of these to satisfy them. I need a few myself 🙂 Have a great weekend, Ann!
Love surprises, great one!
Hi, Anncoo! Love this idea! I do love potato and this potato cake remembers me a potato snack that I made.
I have no doubt that your recipe is also really good!
Thanks for your comment in Chocorango. You can't found the cheesecake and cake recipes in English 'cause aren't my recipes. In that post I was recommending another food blog, sadly, also in Portuguese.
These look so good, love the cheese tucked away in the middle, what a delicious surprise;-)
Thank Kate for visiting 🙂
Hi Alina, As there is bacon in it, I'm afraid there will be too much oil while baking. I think pan fry with little olive oil is better.
very yummy looking!
Love this recipe, thank you for sharing! the photo with the pan, did you place it in the oven? I'm wondering if I can make these in the oven, so it's a little bit more healthy 🙂 Have a great weekend!
