I wish I had a walnut tree in my yard. A southern tradition is to make a pecan pie here in the south but I honestly never thought to make a walnut pie. Your family and friends are so lucky to have you bake for them. I tend to bake in spurts and I give most of it away as my husband is a diabetic and honestly I do not need to eat so many calories by myself:)
Anja: Oh, It's nice to have walnut tree at home, so lucky. I saw many walnut tree in California.
